BioNexus brings together two established Malaysian operating businesses with complementary strengths. MRNA Scientific provides whole-blood RNA genomic screening and related laboratory services, while Chemrex Corporation distributes chemical raw materials to industrial customers.
Through its November 2025 reciprocal equity and licensing transaction with Fidelion Diagnostics, BGLC acquired an approximately 15% interest in Fidelion and exclusive ASEAN rights to VitaGuard™. Chief Executive Officer & President
Su-Leng Tan Lee
Mr. Tan Lee leads BGLC's corporate strategy, commercialization and general management. He has more than 20 years of experience spanning life sciences, investment management, finance and operating leadership.
Before becoming CEO in December 2023, he served as BGLC's Chief Operating Officer. His earlier roles include Chief Commercial Officer of Dryox Health, owner and Managing Director of FLO Life Sciences Group, and President of Avillion Berhad.
Chief Financial Officer
Set Fui Chong (Angeline)
Ms. Chong leads BGLC's financial reporting, internal controls and regional finance oversight, and also serves as Chief Financial Officer of MRNA Scientific.
She brings more than 25 years of senior financial leadership experience, including over a decade as Chief Financial Officer of Avillion Berhad. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
